Watch The Premiere of our Mini-Documentary Series
June 16, 2022Incarnate Word Academy’s new admissions video has been awarded a Silver Telly in the 43rd Annual Telly Awards, in addition to performing with record-breaking numbers for the school.
“We’ve worked with IWA on several film projects over the years, so when they asked if we could make their new admissions video more ‘fun’ – we jumped at the opportunity,” says Ria Ruthsatz, Co-Founder of Tree9 Films and Co-Director on the project.
“We chose the Red Knight to embody all that IWA stands for, with an extra bit of attitude. She’s your teammate, your teacher, and your greatest supporter. She’s the woman you aspire to be. She’s fierce and fun, and always there for you, just like the school community.”
Ruthsatz emphasizes “we are so grateful for the opportunity to work with Warren Laird and Shannon Groark at IWA, who embrace the creative process and bring so much passion for their school and their students to every project.” She acknowledges “it is an honor to be recognized by our peers in the filmmaking community,” but “the real reward is knowing that our films have been effective towards our client’s goals. The series of Red Knight films have performed with record-breaking numbers for the school across YouTube and Snapchat, and we’re immensely proud of that.”
