Kids In The Middle is a nationally accredited non-profit providing counseling, education, and support to children and families before, during, and after separation and divorce.
We were tasked with creating a film that showcased the lasting and exponential impact they have on kids and families. We chose to tell the story through the eyes of an older brother, as he experiences this difficult transition with his sister. We wanted the audience to see his growing responsibilities as he's forced to step up to care for his sister in different ways. It was important to communicate that the transition after divorce isn’t instantaneous, but Kids In The Middle provides kids with the tools they need to successfully manage the changes.
The film debuted at their annual Celebration of Childhood gala, and is used to bring awareness to their services on their website and social media.
