Children’s Miracle Network Ambassador
For Zoey, who dreams of one day becoming a YouTube Star, her Ulcerative Colitis (UC) is just a small part of what makes her special. UC is a disease that causes irritation and inflammation in the large intestine. Zoey has learned to embrace and manage the side effects of her disease, and now educates and advocates for kids who deal with similar medical issues.
The Child Life department at St. Louis Children’s Hospital helped Zoey understand UC, and are a key part of her hospital routine. Without Child Life, hospital visits would be much harder on Zoey and her family.
This film was created to raise awareness for the many ways the Children’s Miracle Network supports St. Louis Children’s Hospital. They help ensure that innovative programs can be funded, crucial equipment can be purchased, and that no child ever gets turned away.
