The Simon Athletic Complex was designed to manifest the spirit of legendary coach and educator, Bill (Willy K.) Simon. It provides students, teams, and the greater community a welcoming environment to “strive together,” which is the original definition of the word competition.
Coach Simon was known for his gentle grace, spiritual strength, and unconditional love. These qualities live on. The Simon Field House exemplifies his dedication and commitment to excellence.
This film was created to announce Principia's capital project, while celebrating the qualities that define Principia athletics - sportsmanship rooted in teamwork, perseverance, and character.
