What started as the infamous tale of the St. Louis Lemp family and their notoriously haunted mansion, slowly evolved into a story of triumph.
We were filming a rehearsal in 2020 when the stay-at-home orders went into effect. Our crew and the dancers walked out of the theater that day and the doors were locked - for months. The pandemic became the backdrop for an entirely unexpected story with its own set of twists, turns, and terror.
There were more than a few times when we had no idea how the story would end. Fortunately, The Big Muddy Dance Company proved that art can't be stopped.
Sit back, raise a glass to a brewing empire and let these unstoppable dancers raise your spirits.
