Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Our crew has had many amazing opportunities to work with, and support, organizations that are making a difference in the lives of children and families fighting cancer. This September, in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness month, consider donating to one (or all!) of these incredible local groups.

  • Camp Rainbow provides free camping experiences to children undergoing treatment for, and survivors of, cancer and blood-related diseases and disorders. They provide a recreational and nurturing environment for campers and their families, where the children can create positive memories, build self-esteem, make new friends and are relieved of the everyday stresses caused by their illness.

  • Friends of Kids With Cancer is devoted to enriching the daily lives of children undergoing treatment for, and survivors of, cancer and blood-related diseases.  Their mission is to provide these children and their families with the educational, emotional, and recreational support needed as a result of the long hours of chemotherapy, illness and isolation.

  • Make-A-Wish Missouri believes a wish experience can be a game-changer for a child with a life-threatening medical condition. Wishes impact everyone involved – wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities. Just the act of making a wish come true can give a child courage, bring parents joy, and inspire volunteers.
